Re: Oh dear gods the pain!!!!
Finally, after nearly 3 months of waiting - an appointment to see the consultant in February. I'm so looking forward to having this damned gallbladder out. All this 'fatty foods will set it off' crap is crap. Anything and everything sets it off in my case. Having done a bit of homework and spoken to...

lol ....but...but....every few years they do peddle out their latest advocate who so sincerely asks us creators for suggestions and humbly tell us they are looking at helping the room and furniture creators out......

Re: IMVU advertising creators?
Oh, just seen this thread....mmmm.....well, not sure tbh lol I like the fact they have attempted to do some advertising, its a shame its the usual suspects for the most part. But the actual video I think is doing a poor job of show casing what these creators have to offer. The whole thing looked wis...

Re: No Sales Notifications coming through
I did it......after years and years of my beloved hotmail account sending me lovely little messages that something sold....I've slid over to the dark side and I now have gmail. I did try to get imvu to look into it. CS very helpfully told me that we now have a new system called Credit Pend and I wil...

No Sales Notifications coming through
Is anyone else getting this? I've not received a single sales notification for nearly 2 days now. I thought I was having an uncharacteristically quiet period - til I checked my sales reports and I see shed loads of sales. My sales notifications is switched on....anyone else having this problem or is...

Re: Rate the IMVU staff competency
Dealing with CS has always been fine for me. I explain what I want, I am super nice to them and I've never had issues. Dealing with Shannon, Jeff etc I find an absolute waste of time...its 100% pointless. You get a standard pile of crap answer, fobbed off and then ignored. They never follow through ...

Re: Pricing level of the catalog
Obviously the catalog is filled with a pricing structure that ranges from the ridiculously low to the unbelievably high. My observations are regarding the well known creators which most of us would recognise - I think the prices have dropped to a point where they are too low. I think the mesh factor...

Re: Boasting and ego trips
I have to confess, when someone starts puffing up their feathers and doing the 'I'm the best creator EVER!' thing....I naturally cast an eye over their catalog. Sometimes I am pleasantly surprised and find a great shop in which case I may compliment them (depending on how annoying the boasting was) ...

Re: KB Question
Something I've always done (and then wondered if it's a waste for the same reason that Daise mentioned re swapping out textures) is resize 512x512 maps that meshers provide (and some upload) to 256x256. So I know that IMVU does something to the 512x512 textures because it's not a recognised size bu...

Re: KB Question
For the lulz! So I made a 2 by 2 pixel .jpg and here is what it shows me the file size is. http://i943.photobucket.com/albums/ad275/Mandapanty/two%20by%20two.png So 539 bytes, I say we look to see how long it would take to download this texture. http://i943.photobucket.com/albums/ad275/Mandapanty/c...

Re: KB Question
I am curious on the behaviour of those assets in the client, as you all mentioned. I wonder if there is anyone staff-wise who would know. I think the only staff members who really understood the program left quite a while ago but good luck with getting a sensible or even coherent answer from the cu...

Re: ACA vs Trumpcare
What struck me, looking at the proposals was the amount of pre-existing conditions listed. I was really shocked - it looks like under Trumpcare, some very common and 'basic' conditions will no longer be covered. I found this a good brief synopsis http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-p...

Re: KB Question
Thank you all for explaining - I was thinking I'd misunderstood it all. For so many years I swapped out high kb textures for far smaller ones thinking I was doing the right thing....I didn't realise the meshers original texture was still there somewhere. I am curious on the behaviour of those assets...

Your scenario should read 'Bob stands as the candidate to make chocolate the only available ice cream. Franks stands as the candidate for vanilla'. If no other people stand to represent watermelon, lemon, raspberry and choc choc chip....then we may all chose to go and vote for either Bob or Frank, ...

Re: Misbehaving Actor
I decided to close my actor tab to "get them out of the way" while I finished up a skin I was working on. Instead of disappearing, the actor loaded in the default entry node in the room. I decided to open the actor tab again to try to move him and now I ended up with two actors. http://userimages-a...

KB Question
I am being a total noob here....but after a heated debate with some creator friends, I have my knickers in a twist, so coming here to be unraveled and straightened out  So. As an example.... Re: Not being active in politics - good or bad?
I agree, when you take part in the voting process you understand and agree to the process of how a winner is decided. Its a simple case of the majority rules. You can vote...have you candidate win and cheer and celebrate just as you can vote and be in the losing team. You can complain at what you c...

Re: Not being active in politics - good or bad?
I personally enjoy the topic of politics. But I understand that it is not for everyone, however, while I'm alright if a person does not vote but if they don't vote then they don't get to complain about the election outcome. They are in no position to be unhappy with the choices made when they had a...
