People win your Custom Creations on Daily Spin

My underage friend got a hidden GA nude top....

They are not like 13...but they are not AP and not 18..and wearing it around with their age hidden.

I filed a ticket about it and they just told me to flag the product. (It is hidden so I can't)

-shakes head- this is absolutely ridiculous! I feel really paranoid about this, since I have made a lot of customs for folks over the years. Granted, most of my customers are no longer active/disabled/etc but that's not the point :/

I had several ideas, actually, mentioned in previous posts but I'll put 'em back up again for !#@$! and grins

1.) Stop the gifting of items at random
a.) gift from IMVU's catalogue only
b.) have developers make items that would only be available thru daily spin win chances
c.) select an item from the users wish list (if no wish list, a higher rate of credits instead)

2.) Have developers "opt out" of the process, meaning your catalogue will NOT be able to be used.

3.) Have developers select certain items from their catalogues (max say 10) to be offered at random on the spin prizes; items not within that list would not be able to be potential prizes.

4.) Kill daily spin with FIRE

5.) Disable the ability to select items that are hidden, display only or otherwise highly priced. Also a filter for GA/AP users.

I don't think IMVU will do a blasted thing about this issue, seeing as we agreed to basically be their meatbags (been watching too much Futurama) by being developers :/

Personally, I think submitting a sample of our catalogues or killing daily spin with fire in general are the best options.

After some thought and replies to my topic on this at the horrible forum . . .
I think the best idea is to have the new free spin be a perhaps by vote weekly or monthly selected creator that way only those who wish to be in it can opt to have their catalogs be prizes and those who don't can simply say no . Of course that would still have the over priced issue , hidden items issue and AP products issue . Now I'd guess they weren't going to do a thing but with the newly found AP issue I'd bet they have no choice as this could lead to some serious backlash if not .

All great ideas, however, one stands out the most for me. I vote for "4.) Kill daily spin with FIRE"

I generally like the Idea of Daily Spin....
but maybe they should keep it to win credits only and not random products.

Its not like i mind that a User is getting one of my Items for free, its still advertising...
but not any Custom Creations please.

Or have developers submit their products to be given out with the daily spin. So that those that want their products gifted for free can have it. I bet some developers would love the advertising. Then people will hopefully no longer get products useless to them like a Spanish voicebox I got the other day.

My Friend who's Custom Product was given away on Daily Spin heard back from Customer Service with the Information that this Problem has been solved and Costum Products will be not given away on Spin anymore. Not sure if that counts only for high priced items or also for those that are on Display only but low priced. If anyone finds a Statement by imvu on Discussions or something maybe you can link it in here.

This is the reason why I haven't played Daily Spin. Some say that also the Hidden products are affected - the others that it's "only" Display Only products that are counted in.

Well if Hidden products are affected, imagine how many now randomly have a UFI stick.
