The image of AP

For me AP has always been a community exclusively for the mature age groups where you're allowed to be a little naughty but it doesn't need to be the end of the pass in itself.

I know that there are clean AP rooms that are based on the simple idea of mature people meeting each other and talking and doing whatever, and I have a few of such rooms favorited. But usually when you search AP rooms, in the first page you always get the smutty AP rooms with GIF icons probably made of a porn movie... ugh. It feeds the image pretty effectively that AP users are "freaky".

Sometimes I wonder if AP needs a directory of the clean mature rooms, just for this reason. Or perhaps there needs to be a third rating like in Second Life.

I'm not sure to which extent we're allowed to talk about this topic here, but since AP forums no longer exist, I'm not sure what to do... so I apologize in advance.

I think the AP rooms speak for themselves given the crazy names and room pics. That alone, is how I judge whether or not I even want to enter.
And most times, I decline.

AP could be used simply to make a mature community, and some AP owners do use it simply to for that purpose, either to meet people in same wavelength and to keep the kids out. But it seems like in the eyes of many users maturity means sticky smut, paid strippers and superficial thrills. Those rooms are in the first page and packed, always.

There's so much more depth to it.
